MCP 041 - MAKING THE CUT: Chapter 31

The battle is over, the bodies have fallen, and it’s time for the survivors to count the cost. The Sommers cell has defied the norms of its society; Daniel unwittingly aided enemies of the Collective; Abbey is a former fugitive. How will the Hive choose to deal with this band of misfits? And what will Malcolm ard’Valos do, now that his pawn has been taken from him?

Nicely done Chris Lester!!

You wrapped up Making the Cut very very well.

The Summers' Cell has their autonomy from the Collective and yet will still be working with the Collective. I think most of us knew that Abbey and Danni/Daniel would end up the Summers' Cell, at least I expected it.

Well now we semi-know how Morgan was turned into a vampire or at least how she was targeted.

I am interested into what the Psi Collective's reaction was to Miriam being turned and subsequently eliminated but Fiona....  SON OF A BITCH!! I spoke way too soon!! that was a hell of a twist for the epilogue!!!!

Well now its just a matter of time for the summer writing contest and waiting for Season #2 to launch on 9-9-09!

I agree.  this was a fun story (the whole thing).  Course, i'm not a genre snob.  I'll read anything that's well written and listen to any audiobook whether it's one voice or a million.  But Butcher, Rice and the wizard of 5th street books are about all the urban fantasy i've read.  Can you make recommendations?

I'm looking for a written version of the contest information?  i have this idea, you see...having to do with what happened to the library :).  Can you post  to the blog the details about the contest.  I heard a few things at the end of 31, and i noticed some folks are already working on something, so please...i tried going back and re-listening to 31 but never heard the contest information again...it's like magic.

Hi miki!

The contest ran through the end of May and was described on the feedback shows and in the pre- and post-show banter segments in episodes of the Metamor City Podcast. It was never discussed in text on the website, since it was aimed specifically at people who listen to the show.

I'll still gladly accept fan-fiction submissions, but they won't count toward the contest for the t-shirt. I'd love to hear that story about what happened to the library, though. :)
