Hi Jaenelle!

The location of the City in relation to the rest of the world is actually quite easily answered. This map shows the continent of Galendor, most of which is occupied by the provinces of the Empire of Metamor. The original kingdom of Metamor, also known as the metropole, is located on the western border northeast of the Sea of Stars. Metamor City is the capital of this kingdom as well as the capital of the Empire.

A map of the City itself is something I haven't ventured to do, as it would require more artistic skills than I can manage and a LOT of free time. I know approximately where certain landmarks are, and I know where the Citadel is, but apart from that I've kept the geography deliberately vague so that I don't accidentally contradict myself later. :)

That having been said, it would be great if someone wanted to create a proper map of the City. I've always figured I can shove that off on the game designers if this ever turns into an RPG. :)

Part of the problem Jaenelle is that Metamor city is 3 dimensional.  It not only goes sideways it goes up and down as well.  So the model would have to be 3 dimensional as well.  That being said I think I'm going to have to do something like this for a story idea I have just so I don't contradict myself.

Anyone good at VR 3D modeling?? :D

I've got some basic map/pictures that I made based on a conversation I had with Chris back at last Balticon...

There's a top down view and a side/elevation view.

Then I realized that the Citadel wasn't in there... so I just added it in as an approximation today.

But I'm not sure how to post them here.
