Danni’s back — and she is NOT happy. How will she respond to the “intervention” that has been forced on her? Meanwhile, Victor’s strategy against Miriam begins to be revealed: he’s got a plan to get the Elder off his back, and it’s not going to be pretty…
Keep it on the bright side!

I listened to Chapter 20 this morning at work and I've got to say I'm impressed. Brian, Fiona, Sasha, and Rebecca are all willing to give Daniel a chance. It was obvious in previous chapters that Sasha was willing to help Rebecca. But my main thought was just how willing would Fiona and Brian be willing to help, especially Fiona with her stand offish attitude. Obviously after Daniel opened up to the Summers cell, but especially Fiona you could tell there was an attitude shift within the cell towards helping Daniel. I'm impressed by how you had Brian handle the situation, especially his willingness to allow Daniel into the breeding cell on the conditions that Daniel gets his head straight and is willing to help out with the family before he is even allowed to sleep with Rebecca again, this tells me that Brian cares for Daniel more as a brother than as a friend. Now I'm actually hoping that Daniel gets his head on straight and can live with Danni and make this work with the Summers cell.
Obviously Artax is interesting in Daniel/Danni's situation. Sure he's on the leading edge of the research, but I think that deep down Artax truly wants to help Daniel. It'll be interesting to see how Danni reacts to being locked up in the telepath proof room. Though there is one thing that concerns me, Rebecca openly admitted she still loves Daniel and it sure seemed to me that she loves him more than those in her breeding cell. Add in the fact that Sasha was right there when Rebecca admited her feelings to Daniel just before his change and this makes me wonder what Sasha's reaction will be. Hopefully we will get to see a deep heart to heart conversation between Sasha and Rebecca in the next chapter.
As for Victor and Abby. Obviously Abby doesnt like moving around all that often and she is more than a little concerned that she cant "hear" Victor's mind, just his neural static. I'm still very interested in seeing what you do with Victor and the Hive...
Again I want the next chapter now and the following chapter and well hell I want to whole damn story right now!! The anticipation of waiting two weeks is brutal :p of course once the entire story is done I know I'm going to have to listen to every episode again to really appreciate all the characters and details of this awsome story!
lol they need 2 weeks to get everything togeather you just need to get other podcast

One of the things I like about Artax is the complexity of his motivations. I think he's one of those people who wanted to be a good man but who has been driven by circumstances to harden himself, to do things that he would rather not have done. It's safe to say that guilt is a major motivating factor in his life, which may be part of why he takes on "charity cases" like Daniel. Of course, exacting three favors from his clients is undoubtedly a price, even if it doesn't pay the rent, so maybe this isn't as much of a charity situation as it first appears to be...

Don't bet on it. As Rebecca said in their discussion around the breakfast table, love isn't an either/or thing. Part of the reason Rebecca's love for Daniel is expressing itself so intensely now is because of the traumatic nature of his current circumstances. If it were Brian, or Sasha, or Fiona who were in trouble, Rebecca's emotions would express themselves just as strongly, though the exact nature of that expression would be different for each of them.

Sasha and Fiona had a heart-to-heart with Rebecca while Brian was talking to Daniel. You'll hear Sasha reference that conversation when she talks to Danni in MCP031.
"Zombie guards, seize him!" Tell me that's not fun to say.
